This week, we take more questions on the show plus play an interview we did with Perry Lawrence of AskMrVideo.com. Perry has been in video production for 20 years and has produced, shot, and or edited videos for companies like Merck, Maxwell House, Nickelodeon, P&G, Ogilvy & Mather, IBM, and many others.  In this interview Perry shares the basics of creating good video content.

Perry gives some great video marketing tips in this episode. In fact, one tip he gave about using natural light from the sun, caused me to re-arrange my office so that I could position myself opposite the window for getting the best results.

As for question on the show this week, here's what we have:

  • Roger wants to know about building back links from blog comments. We recommend a very cool tool called blog comment demon. It's my favorite tool for finding blogs (that are follow) and commenting on them.
  • Allen wants to know the best print on demand publisher for publishing a book. Of course, as always our favorite is CreateSpace.
  • Jason want to know if his search ranking will drop when he switches host providers.
  • Heather wants to know the best model (Google Ads, affiliate income, membership sites, info products)  for generating residual monthly income online. We share our thoughts on this.

On this week's show we spend time answering more questions.

  • Jean wants to know where to find an uncomplicated e-commerce theme for WordPress. Remember, the word Jean used is "uncomplicated". We spend some time talking about one of our favorite WordPress theme sites- elegantthemes.com; It has some fantastic e-commerce themes; plus they have excellent training and support.
  •  Jason wants to know what to do with content from a site that has recently expired. Can he re-use it without getting penalized by Google for submitting duplicate content? We'll be discussing how Jason can handle this.
  • Dean wants to know if there is an easy way to convert .mp4 and .mov video files to avi. We  spend some time sharing one free converter ( Cineform converter ) that will allow you to do just that. You can find it at  http://gopro.com/3d-cineform-studio-software-download.
  • Charlie needs a simple site where members can easily embed YouTube videos. He wants to know whether he should use a forum software or just a simple Facebook page.
  • Don wants to know what to do if you accidently forget to renew your domain subscription and it expires. Does that person lose the domain name right away or is there a window of time that allows them to still renew it?

This week, we kick the new year off answering questions on the show. 

Rick is having trouble with Market Samurai. It seems after running a number of keyword searches, Rick gets a message telling him he's been blocked from Google due to too many searches. 

Mike is changing one of his websites over to a WordPress blog and wants to make sure any visitors to the old site pages get re-directed over to the new location. 

Tobey is wanting to trademark his business name is confused about how to go about the process. 

Val wants to know the easiest way to upload a video and embed it on his site without using YouTube. 

And Danny has had some recent problems with Amazon S3 shutting down his account and wants to know if screencast.com is good alternative.
